Senior Account Executive
Brenna Wriston, LMSW, brings 16 years of organizational leadership to her role as Senior Account Executive at JBJ Management. Most recently, Brenna served as the Senior Director of Community Collaboration and Partnerships at The Family Place, the largest family violence service provider in Texas. Brenna was responsible for oversight of the community collaboration department; Be Project (violence prevention), Faith and Liberty’s Place (supervised visitation) and Battering Intervention (BIPP) programs, as well as community education services for the agency. Brenna served more than ten years at The Salvation Army of North Texas. As Program Services Department Director, she was responsible for 15 centers across 5 counties in North Texas.
Brenna empowered a diverse team aimed at identifying gaps in service provision and increasing the effectiveness of service delivery. During her tenure, she also served as a Steering Committee member for a national initiative aimed at breaking the cycle of generational poverty. Prior experience includes strategic leadership as Executive Director of Alley’s House, a transformative program for young mothers in East Dallas, adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Arlington School of Social Work and management of a restorative justice youth diversion program within the Iowa Department of Correctional Services (6th Judicial District).
Originally from the Midwest, Brenna attended the University of Iowa and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She earned a Master of Social Work degree focused on nonprofit administration from the University of Kansas and maintains her status as a Licensed Master Social Worker in the State of Texas. As a member of the National Association of Social Workers, Brenna has a passion for advocacy and social justice. She is skilled in nonprofit administration, fundraising, grants administration, staff development and program design, implementation, and evaluation.
