Jon Edmonds

Jonathon E. “Jon” Edmonds is the Senior Vice President of Operations for JBJ Management. He is the founder and principal of Higher-Level Development, a business consulting and real estate development firm. Jon is also the past president of the Foundation for Community Empowerment (FCE) in Dallas. Preceding these, Mr. Edmonds was the president of the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership in Indianapolis, Indiana. His personal mission is creating and securing win-win opportunities for the community, the clients, the cities, and organizations. Jon Edmonds, a former Citibank commercial loan officer and small business owner, has more than twenty-five years of experience in community and economic development. Throughout the years, Jon has received numerous honors and awards and was awarded the President William Jefferson Clinton HUD Homeownership Partnership Award in 1995-96.  

  Jon was recruited to Dallas in 1997 by J McDonald “Don” Williams, now retired Chairman and CEO of the Trammell Crow Company. He is married to Lois Edmonds (44 years). Lois and Jon have four children: Dawn Davidson, VP & Creative Director of ABI, and owner of Break of Day Design Ad & PR; Altrameise Myers Bettis, United States Air Force (winner of Tops In Blue) and owner of Bettis Ventures; Erica Stewart, ICU nurse and owner of KB Stewart Construction, and Jon Christopher Edmonds, Media Technology, JBJ Management. Jon serves as an Elder and bible teacher at the 10,000- member Concord Church in Dallas. He and Lois also have 3 wonderful grandchildren.
